From Vancouver, BC, Fillip covers and participates in critical practices concerning art, academia, and contemporary culture. The journal is somewhat of a rarity in that it occupies a space that is neither abstruse nor obvious on subjects that are important (to some). Each issue features an artist project, and a sort of delightful index by a select individual or team. Published three times per year.
