This journal was first produced on the occasion of the exhibition Wenn Die Nacht Am Dunkelsten Ist, Kommt Der Tag (When The Night Is Darkest, The Day Comes), Helmhaus Zurich (2011). A group show of artists whose work tends towards long incubation periods before presentation and the distinguishing characteristic of duality - conceptual and literal and material - Medium is presented from the ashes of Shahrzad, its previous incarnation. Prose, poetry, and visuals in a compact, stimulating design.
